19. HARDNESS MELTS
Sri Sathya
Sai often explains as to why the ignorance and lack of
knowledge, lack of sincerity, superstitions, competition,
selfishness, negligence and disobedience, pride and arrogance,
do not bring from Him, a harsh, hard and stern response as it
used to be in the previous incarnation. He explains the reason
with the following illustrative example, "The mother is
usually hard when the children enter the kitchen and disturb
the cooking, but while serving the food, she is all smiles and
patience. 1 am now distributing the dishes cooked then (at
Shirdi). Wherever you may be, if you are hungry and if you sit
with a plate, I'll serve you the dishes and feed you to your
hearts' content".
