The experience of
Mr. Karunakaran
The following was one of
Dr.Mohan's friend's experience with Sathya Sai Baba.
I was visiting Sri Venkateswara Swami at Thirupathi on First of
January with the help of my friend Mr. K. Karunakaran, executive
officer at TTD. We usually visit Balaji soon after midnight and
next day morning visit Mr. Karunakaran, then leave to Madras.
During one of those visit 3 years ago Mr. Karunakaran has asked me
to look at a picture on the wall, it was the picture of Sri
Sathya Sai Baba. The picture was not evident immediately but after
concentrated look I realized it's the picture of Sri Sathya Sai
Baba.
Mr. Karunakaran was ill because of a heart condition and was
visiting few doctors for the opinion. They have told him that he
was in need of an operation. He fixed the date for the operation
and was coming home by bus to Thirupathi. He was sitting still and
worried about the operation and his family. He was interrupted for
his thoughts by an elderly gentleman who gave him the picture and
told him to pray to Swami and everything will be alright.
That picture was of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Mr. Karunakaran started
to pray for Swami.
The date that he had to be admitted to the hospital arrived, so
Mr. Karunakaran got checked into the hospital and the tests were
performed. To Mr. Karunakaran's amazement, next day the doctors
came and told him that he didn't need the operation as all the
tests proved to be well. They couldn't explain how this could
happen? He has been well since then, during my recent trip to
visit Balaji, I visited Mr. Karunakaran and he seemed to be in
good spirits and health.
This is how I got to know Sri Sathya Sai Baba, next year I visited
Whitefields to have Bhagavan's darshan.
